This Meetup is for anybody who wants to learn Japanese language and culture, practice English and Japanese conversation. The venue is shared office space with relaxed atmosphere. We would like to plan activities such as short Japanese lessons and cultural presentations utilizing a projector, screen, and audio system.
We have updated the program for 2020! The first half will be more structured class style. The second half will be cultural presentation and following conversation.
All levels from beginners to natives are welcome. Lectures and presentations are in English.

6:20-6:30 Self-introduction Time
6:30-6:45 Hiragana lesson
6:45-7:00 Hiragana practice & game
7:00-7:10 Break
7:10-7:30 Japanese cultural presentation
Topic: What is Japanese “Salary man”? -Learn from TV Commercials
7:30-7:50 Conversation & Discussion
Topic: Questions about working in Japan. Which commercials do you like?
7:50-8:00 short reflection & closing

Schedule is tentative. It may change according to participants’ requests and levels.
