The first workshop of “Keys to Building a Successful Solo Business.” workshop series.
In this workshop you will learn the keys to building a successful solo business. Solo businesses are the fastest growing model of the 21st Century, but solo businesses are distinctly different from other small businesses and there are some things you must do to create the financial success you are seeking. We will explore those differences then work on developing your business focus which is one of the keys to success. In coming classes over the next six months, we will spend time on other key elements.
This class will be high energy, fun, interactive, and practical. You will learn skills you can use immediately as you create your encore business. Your instructor, Jackie B Peterson, is a national thought leaders on solopreneurship and will share many ideas, client stories and ideas for creating a viable solo enterprise.

Instructor: Jackie B. Peterson
She has worked with small businesses and solopreneurs–including creative and encore entrepreneurs–for over 30 years. She’s an entrepreneur herself, working as a business adviser and CPA. She was honored to be named one of the 100 most powerful women in the Northwest and recently won the Portland Chamber of Commerce’s prestigious President’s Award in recognition of her years of working on behalf of the small business community. In addition to her independent consulting and small business coaching practice, she currently works as a strategic adviser/instructor for the Small Business Development Center of Portland Community College. Her book, Better, Smarter, Richer is currently used as curriculum in many of the center’s classes.
