4:30pm-5:00pm Special Riichi (Japanese Mahjong) lesson for people who want to learn and already know the basics of Mahjong
5:00pm-8:00pm Regular Riichi and simplified Chinese Mahjong game play; learn to play simplified Chinese style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Come on by for our Mah Jong meetup! Beginners and all levels are welcome! We have people on hand to teach simplified Chinese rules and Japanese (Riichi) rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you have your own Mahjong set, please bring yours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you play another style, all rules, both experts and beginners are welcome. Let’s enjoy Mah Jong together!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We host evening Mahjong on the third Tuesday of every month from 5-8pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PAYMENT NOTE: The fee is sliding scale ($5 – $10), and you may pay using Paypal at: https:\/\/www.paypal.me\/encorepreneurcafe<\/a> in advance or pay in cash or card at the door. It will be used to rent the space and help to keep this meetup group going. We will provide coffee, tea, water, and snacks. Thank you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Masaki will have a short lecture of Riichi, Japanese-style Mahjong. If you are interested in learning Riichi, please come at 4:30 pm. Among many different mahjong rule sets in the world, Riichi seemed to have particularly enthusiastic followers. If you already know Mahjong basics and want to play more exciting games, learning Riichi is perfect for you. I will present basics of Riichi so that you can play actual games after 5pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We normally have one Riichi Mahjong table and the other tables play simplified Chinese Mahjong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are a Mahjong beginner, no worries. Please come anytime after 5pm. Our Mahjong teacher, Susan, will teach Mahjong basics (simplified Chinese style). You will enjoy playing Mahjong immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
