Encore Adventure Japan is a special travel experience for ages 50+ and their friends. The purpose of the program is to create affordable group travel for older adults that encourages cultural exchange, friendship, and personal connection.

The 6-day trip, from November 14-21, is geared toward older adults who are looking for a one-of-a-kind cultural experience. We’ll be visiting Tokyo, Mt. Fuji, and Kamakura, of course, but the real gem is a 2-day visit to Chichibu, a small mountain town near Tokyo. The pace is a little slower there, the people are little friendlier, the experience a little more personal. If you’ve never been to Japan before, this will be a great introduction and a way to meet with Japanese people face-to-face. And if you have been before, you’ve probably never experienced Chichibu and the warm, small-town welcome they are planning for us.
