The Encorepreneur Cafe

This month we will screen Shohei Imamura’s portrait of a poor woman’s life in rural early-20th-century Japan. Spanning several decades, we see Tomé, the film’s heroine, survive much social change, abuse, and setbacks as she tries to make something of her life.

Please join us for The Insect Woman (にっぽん昆虫記, Nippon Konchūki), and our post-film discussion!
